I am an experienced corporate transactional lawyer. I reguarly advise on mergers and acquisitions, start ups, investments, joint ventures, limited liability partnerships and corporate reorganisations.

I trained in the City with Lovells (now Hogan Lovells). During my training I was seconded for a period to 3i plc in the middle of the dotcom boom, which started an interest in early stage technology and high growth start up companies. I then spent four years in Osborne Clarke’s corporate department where I advised a number of private equity investors on buy outs and investments as well as on the sales and purchases of many private companies.

At Roxburgh Milkins our focus is advising businesses and entrepreneurs. My past experience of advising institutional clients on the other side of the fence allows me to give our clients well rounded and balanced advice (or at least I think it does!).

As partners in a young firm all of us at Roxburgh Milkins very much regard ourselves as owners of a business. We have optimism and enthusiasm about our business. This rubs off on the way we give our advice: like any good lawyers, we ensure clients get the protection they need but we’re as interested in their goals and what they want to achieve.

Outside the office I play rugby, although my always limited ability and pace have been hampered by a knee injury. My hands are also very full looking after three noisy, energetic (but lovely!) young boys.
