Fibre provider Grain Connect has raised £10m investment in equity finance from Albion Capital. The investment will assist further development of Grain’s UK full fibre broadband network at new build home developments (such as one recently agreed with Birmingham City Council at Perry Barr).

As part of a group reorganisation prior to the investment, Grain also made a bolt-on acquisition of the fibre business previously run by Solway Communications.

Grain is a part of the Pinnacle Group, which provides people-first services across a range of community-facing assets and infrastructure and is a long-standing client of Roxburgh Milkins. Jason Milkins and Phillip Edmonds from the firm provided legal advice to Grain.
