RM team developments
On 04 November 2026
Roxburgh Milkins has today announced the promotion of two new Partners, with Harriet Calver and Carl Spencer joining the leadership team.
As existing heads of departments (Employment and IT & Commercial respectively), both Harriet and Carl already have significant management responsibilities and strong client relationships, so becoming Partners formally recognises their achievements to date along with their passion for continuing to grow the firm.
Harriet has built the firm’s employment practice from scratch since 2025, combining her own client base with RM’s existing relationships to establish a distinctive offering in the Bristol market. This is now a flourishing team of three, with further growth expected, and the team already noted as a Firm to Watch in Legal 500 rankings.
Carl has built his career at RM from the ground up and developed into a highly regarded lawyer and leader, trusted by both clients and colleagues for his thoughtful and detailed approach, and with recognition for several years now in the Chambers rankings for Information Technology, an area which he regularly trains clients on directly.
These promotions are also part of a broader story about the direction of the firm. Roxburgh Milkins is growing, investing in high-quality people, and continuing to develop their offering. Turnover has grown by 50% in the last two years and is forecast to continue to increase, with 19 fee-earners currently and plans to grow to 25 next year.
In addition to broadening its services and team, the firm also now offers clients international reach through membership of global legal and accountancy network, MSi Global.
The close knit team at RM consistently receive positive recommendations from clients and intermediaries alike, so these latest appointments further demonstrate the firm’s commitment to the region and their dedicated practice areas.
