Carl leads the IT & Commercial team for the firm as a senior associate, advising on the full range of commercial projects alongside Director Ian Grimley, senior associate Helen Naylor and solicitor Kimberlee Carstensen. He is an experienced commercial solicitor, with specialisms including technology and software licensing, intellectual property management, and data protection. Previously, Carl spent a year working in-house with a leading company credit reference agency, developing a unique insight into the needs of the client.

Carl enjoys supporting young aspiring lawyers, via his mentoring work with UWE and part-time role as an Associate Lecturer with the Open University.
