"What we enjoy is really getting to know the business owners - understanding what they need for the business and for its future... helping them achieve those objectives in a flexible way."
As one of our founders, Jason is a corporate transactional lawyer with a wide range of experience working largely for private companies, typically entrepreneurial businesses.
Background: Jason was a member of Osborne Clarke’s corporate department from qualification until 2003, when he co-founded Roxburgh Milkins with Bruce Roxburgh.
In practice: Jason divides his time between the UK and France, helping international businesses undertake corporate and commercial transactions governed by English law, both in the UK and abroad. He particularly enjoys advising entrepreneurs on their strategic acquisitions and successful exits. Jason has handled numerous management buy-outs and buy-ins, share and asset sales and purchases, and corporate restructurings. He's also advised in connection with AIM flotations and supported numerous telecoms businesses.
In his own words: "What we enjoy here is really getting to know the business owners - understanding what they need for the business and for its future. Helping them achieve those objectives in a flexible way, to suit each client, is the difference we bring."
In his spare time: Jason enjoys skiing with his children, horse-riding, and cycling in the French Alps. He's also another of the firm's many rugby enthusiasts.
